While ISDN and primary multiplex offered no encryption options at all, easybell customers can take advantage of this feature thanks to Voice-over-IP technology. The two main protocols used for this are the Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) and Transport Layer Security (TLS).

Provided that all participating devices are properly configured and support these protocols, the connection to our servers is encrypted and protected against unauthorized eavesdropping. Our data center is ISO 27001-certified, and easybell naturally complies with strict guidelines set out in the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TCA) and European telecommunications regulations.

Please note, however, that this applies only to calls within our network. For you, this means that your business calls with easybell or calls to other easybell subscribers can be encrypted. Calls to other networks, however, are only accepted unencrypted by the respective carrier.

In our Help Center, you’ll find numerous guides and tips on how to set up SRTP and TLS.
