It can be important to immediately see which extension (resource or user) a call is coming in to. For example, if an employee handles different hotlines, this allows her to answer the call appropriately.

The feature described here does exactly that. In addition to the caller’s number, the extension name where the call is coming in is displayed. This way, employees know which topic they should prepare for even before answering the call.

1. Access the Cloud PBX

Open my.easybell and click on “Cloud PBX” in the menu bar.

Depending on the function, the Cloud PBX uses two different types of extensions:

  • User: person-specific extensions 
  • Resources: non-person-specific extensions

Please click on the relevant entry in the sidebar.

2. Edit Extension

In the “User” or “Resources” section, please select the extension you want to edit and click the pencil icon next to it.

3. Configure the display

Go to the "Call Handling" tab.

Under “Incoming Calls,” you can now enable the “Display Name on Devices” feature.

Then save the settings to apply them.
