Important! The solutions described here will likely only apply to you if all of the following conditions apply to your setup:

  1. You are using the device with Easybell’s Cloud PBX.
  2. You are using the registrar pbx.easybell.de.
  3. You are using encrypted telephony (TLS).
  4. You are using devices from Grandstream, snom, or Yealink.

You can easily fix the error yourself by either adjusting your device’s configuration or simply updating the firmware to the latest version.

Below, you’ll find a brief explanation for each manufacturer, along with additional links.

Grandstream

On Grandstream devices, the DNS-SRV settings must be adjusted. You can find the instructions here: Using Grandstream Phones with an Encrypted Cloud PBX. The relevant information can be found under “6. Network Settings.”

snom

Your device requires firmware version 10.1.175.10 or higher. If this is not the case, please perform a firmware update via the phones' web interface.

If your device is connected via ACS, you can also reset it to factory settings. The latest firmware will be installed automatically when the device restarts.

Yealink

You'll need to adjust the SIP and proxy server settings on your device.

If the device is configured via ACS, simply restarting the device is sufficient.

If the device is configured manually, please set it up according to our instructions: Setting Up Encrypted Calling with Yealink in the Cloud PBX. You can find the relevant changes in the sections “3.2 Setting Up the SIP Server” and “3.3 Outgoing Proxy Server.”
