These instructions can help you if you encounter the following issue with your Microsoft Teams connection:

A call group was created in Microsoft Teams using a resource account. For incoming calls with a suppressed phone number to this call group, no connection is established after the call is answered.

Instead, the anonymous call is immediately signaled back. This process repeats for three minutes until the call group times out.

This behavior is independent of the Teams Connector and also occurs with similar solutions for connecting to Microsoft Teams. Unfortunately, we do not have any further information from Microsoft regarding the technical background.

Instructions

1. Manage call queues

First, please open the Microsoft Teams Admin Center and go to "VoIP" → "Call Queues."

There, please select the appropriate call queue and then click “Edit.”

2. Enable conference mode

In the third step, titled “Answering Calls,” please enable the “Conference Mode” option and complete the settings.

Now, calls with suppressed phone numbers can once again be answered by call groups.
