1. Create a resource

First, create a new resource in your Cloud PBX.

You can find step-by-step instructions in our help article “Creating Extensions in the Cloud PBX.”

2. Select the fax extension type

Now, in the newly created resource, please select the extension type “Fax.”

Next, enter the email address to which incoming faxes should be forwarded in the “Email” field.

Also, assign a name and a speed dial number to the fax resource.

3. Assign a phone number

Next, assign a phone number to your fax resource using the "Phone Numbers" tab.

You can choose from all the phone numbers assigned to your Cloud PBX.

For more information on assigning phone numbers, see our help article “Using Phone Numbers in the Cloud PBX.”

4. Save Settings

Then confirm your entries by clicking “Save.”

The fax resource will now appear in the extension overview of your Cloud PBX. In the future, incoming faxes will be forwarded as PDF files to the email address you provided.
